the gathering: A Ministry for Widows & Widowers

A place to share, encourage, comfort, and walk together.

The Gathering is a special ministry for widows and widowers who desire a place of fellowship, encouragement, and support as they navigate life after loss. We understand that grief can be a difficult and lonely journey, and sometimes what we need most is simply to be around others who understand.

The Gathering provides a welcoming place where you can come just as you are—to share your heart, enjoy fellowship, laugh, cry, listen, and be encouraged. It is a place where friendships can grow and where no one has to walk through this season of life alone.

Our desire is to offer comfort and encouragement through Christian fellowship while reminding one another of God's love, faithfulness, and presence through every season.

The Gathering meets on the last Monday of each month.

The ministry is led by Katherine Miller and David Applegate, who have a heart for bringing people together and providing a caring and supportive environment for widows and widowers.

Whether you are newly widowed or have been walking this journey for years, you are welcome at The Gathering.
